Spartans Lose Two, Record Now Stands at 9-5

It was a rough weekend for the Greenbrier East Spartans boys' basketball team as they dropped two consecutive games at home. The Spartans dropped a 71-64 decision to the Parkersburg Big Reds on Friday, January 29, and then on Saturday, they suffered a 62-56 decision to the Hampshire Trojans.

Lady Spartans Stay Perfect With Two Wins Over the Weekend

The road to perfection stayed right on course this past weekend, as the Greenbrier East Lady Spartans remained undefeated with victories over Greater Beckley Christian (77-37) on Friday and the Hampshire Trojans on Saturday evening.

GEHS Spartans Football Season Ends In Martinsburg

The Greenbrier East Spartans football team enjoyed its best season in 17 years, finishing the regular season at 7-3 and qualifying for the state playoffs in the process. But in the first round of 16, the Spartans' season finally came to a close after suffering a tough 47-28 loss to the Martinsburg Bulldogs on a very windy Friday, November 13 evening.
