Born on October 20, 1923, in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of Ernest Arbuckle Johnson and Carrie Merriah Freeman Johnson.

Frances Arminta Hanna, 54, of Alderson, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 1, 1965, in Union, WV, and was a daughter of Noah Ivan Carter and the late Delorise A. Vance Carter of Alderson.

On Thursday, January 30, 2020, Carl Lee Lafon, beloved husband of Brenda Lafon; loving father of Selina Windsor-Lafon, Heather Curran, and Ashley Root; cherished grandfather of Zachary Milwee and Cali Root; and dear brother of Gene Lafon, Johnny Mansfield and Patricia Myers, passed away.

In addition, he is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
