Wanda Fullen

Wanda Lee Young Fullen, 86, of Fairlea, WV, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at the CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV, after a short illness.

Wanda was born on October 26, 1933, in Pickaway, WV, and was the daughter of the late Basil Young and Louise Boone Young.

She was married to her late husband, Cecil Fullen, on November 15, 1974. Wanda graduated from Union High School in 1951. After graduation, she moved to Ronceverte, WV, where she began her working life. She ran Honaker's Store in Organ Cave, WV, for 10 years. She was employed at Appalachian Electronics for 12 years. She was co-owner of the Fullens Trailer Park in Fairlea, where she was an integral part of the business until her passing.

Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed hosting family gatherings at her home. She was a devoted member of the AR Presbyterian Church in Fairlea where she served as a Sunday school teacher, past president of the Women's Circle, and sang in the choir. She enjoyed gardening and working outside.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Fullen; her grandchildren, Jamie Honaker and Melissa Betz; sister, Lois (Pat) Allen; and the father of her four children, Sterling D. Honaker.

She is survived by four children, Patty Betz, Darrell W. Honaker, Donna Wykle, and Doug Honaker (Linda), all of Fairlea; seven grandchildren, Adam Wykle, Michelle Hall (Ronnie) of Glade Hill, VA, Elizabeth Honaker Smith (fiancé Jeff Vance) of Frankford, WV, Joshua Wykle (Tonya) of Renick WV, Nikki Honaker of Clintonville, WV, Darrell M. Honaker of Dublin, OH, and Sarah Honaker Dyess (Danny) of Roanoke, VA; 11 great-grandchildren, Jackson Honaker and Landon Dyess, both of Roanoke, Mason Williams of San Angelo, TX, Jerred Hall, McKinleigh Williams, and Mason Hall, all of Glade Hill, Lyla Smith of Frankford, and Chloey, Ella, Amrey, and Joslyn Wykle, all of Renick; as well as many nieces and nephews; and special niece, Becky Powell.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at the New Lebanon ARP Church in Pickaway, with Pastor Ike Hughes and Pastor Bill Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020, at the Morgan Funeral Home, 252 Montvue Dr., Lewisburg, WV 24901.
