Mrs. Maxie Neal Holliday, 83, of Fairlea, WV, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Greenbrier Health Care Center in Lewisburg, WV.
She was born on May 4, 1935, in Ronceverte, WV, and was the daughter of the late Robert G. and Fannie Hefner Neal.
She was a member of the Fairlea Associate Reform Presbyterian Church in Fairlea.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Holliday.
She is survived by her son, Neal D. Holliday (Terry) of Charleston, WV; daughter, Victoria L. Turner (Bill) of Fairlea; sisters, Reta Hobbs and Ronda Scott, both of Richmond, VA; granddaughters, Elaine Thacker of St. Albans, WV, and Rebecca Harrison of Charleston; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the Fairlea Associate Reform Presbyterian Church in Fairlea, with the Rev. Ike Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg is in charge of arrangements.
