Connie Simmons

Connie Charlene Simmons, 58, of Renick, WV, passed away following a sudden illness on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.

Born May 9, 1960, in Marlinton, WV, she was the daughter of Warner Sheldon Clark and Bonnie Louise Clutter Clark Mullins.

She was a member of the Spring Creek Presbyterian Church, where she served as Elder. Connie was a longtime employee of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, where she was an operating room technician.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Linda Clark.

Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years, John Thomas Simmons; son, Sheldon McKendree Simmons of Renick; brother, Alston W. Clark (Carolyn) of Red Lion, PA; nephew, Michael W. Clark of York, PA; great-niece, Kylee S. Clark of York; uncle, Kenneth Clutter (Ruth) of Windsor, PA; and aunt, Mary Clutter of Marlinton.

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV, with Pastor Lynn Randolph officiating. Burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery in Renick.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of the service, Saturday, at the funeral home.
