Spartans Pick Up Win Over Mountain Mission

It wasn't the "A" team for the Mountain Mission, VA, Challengers when they traveled to Fairlea to play the Greenbrier East Spartans on Thursday, December 15. However, the "B" team did present some talent, but the Spartans possessed a little more and came away with a 60-48 victory.

Coach Justice Picks Up 1,000th Win

It was a rather "big" night at the Spartan gym in Fairlea on Tuesday, November 29. First off, the Greenbrier East Lady Spartans opened up their 2016-2017 campaign, with Bo Jackson, Don Nehlen and Bob Pruett in attendance, and Jim Justice was pursuing career win number 1,000.

GEHS Spartans Fall to Spring Valley Timerwolves, Await Next Season

The Greenbrier East Spartans had an opportunity to finish their 2016 campaign with a 5-5 record and an outside chance at a playoff berth. Unfortunately, they ran into a buzzsaw when they hosted the state's second ranked team, the Spring Valley Timberwolves, who ran at, around and through the Spartans all night en route to a 55-14 win.
