Gladys Williams Boyce, 99, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
Gladys was a homemaker, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a member of the Fairlea Presbyterian church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Okey W. Moore; son, Kenneth Boyce; and brothers, James Williams, Elmer Williams, and Alfred Williams.
Surviving are her daughters, Carol Flanagan (Jimmie) of LaVale, MD, Linda Moore (Kermit) of Lewisburg, and Gaye Forren (Jim) of Greenville, WV; a sister, Marie Stanley of Droop Mountain, WV; nine grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 4, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with the Rev. Ike Hughes officiating. An interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Keenan, WV.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
