Gracie Mae Bowyer, 83 of Fairlea, WV, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born August 23, 1935, at Hollywood, WV, she was the daughter of Brady Orden and Rehlda Catherine Hoke White.
Gracie retired from The Greenbrier as a seamstress.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ernest Edward Bowyer; four brothers, Clyde, Bill, Marvin, and Jesse; and three sisters, Una, Willie, and Nellie.
Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Richard Eugene Bowyer Sr.; son, Richard Eugene Bowyer Jr. (Mary) of Riverside, WV; two daughters, Sharon Marie Biter (James) of Texas, and Juanita "Fred" Bowyer of Fairlea; grandchildren, Richard Eugene Bowyer III, Lorena Elizabeth Bowyer, and Adam Alexander Bowyer; two great-grandchildren, Richard E. Bowyer IV and Liam Harper Bowyer; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Friday, November 9, 2018, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV, with Pastor Everette "Hat" Defibaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018, at the funeral home.
