Gary Loudermilk

Gray Alexander Loudermilk, 98, of Bassett, VA, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at his grandson's residence.

Gray was born on February 6, 1920, in Clintonville, WV, to Johnnie and Bertha Loudermilk.

Gray served in the United States Navy during WWII. He also attended New Covenant Fellowship in Bassett, VA.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Tim Loudermilk; brothers, Guy, Gordon, Garland, Gerald, Bill, Glen, Leo; and sister, Gracie Hinkle.

Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Velma Bryant Loudermilk; sons, Albert Loudermilk (Kathy), Alfred Loudermilk (Kim); siblings, Hub Loudermilk (Evelene), Earl Loudermilk (Jane), Bob Loudermilk, and Maryetta Martin; grandsons, Allen Loudermilk (Susanna), and Kevin Loudermilk (Erica); as well as seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville.
