Jessie Wilson Williams, 99, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Greenbrier Health Care Center in Fairlea, WV.
Jessie was born in Ronceverte on December 8, 1918, the daughter of Daniel and Texie Whitlock Williams.
Jessie was a member of the Ronceverte Baptist Church, spent 45 years working for RIPCO as a secretary, and loved playing Bingo, watching her nephews play sports, and reading.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Johnsie Garner and Rosalie Workman Lewis; half-sisters, Bertha Via and Ruth Williams; and nephew, Fred Workman.
Survivors include her niece, Teresa Pauley (Mike) of Princeton, WV; nephews, William G. Garner of Ronceverte and Roy Daniel Workman (Ann) of Camden, SC; grandnephews, Chris Pauley, Bill Pauley (Rebecca), and Bob Pauley (Kathy); as well as four great-grandnieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 26 2018, at 2 p.m. at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Andy Howdock officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations of sympathy be made to the Ronceverte Public Library, 712 Main St., Ronceverte, WV 24970.
