Janet Lewis, 68, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017, at her home in Lewisburg.
She was born May 21, 1949, at Quincy, IL, a daughter of Adelbert and Doris Yeakey Lewis.
Janet was a retired business administrator for NBOME (National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners Inc.) in Chicago, IL, and was formerly employed by Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg. She also attended Shuck Memorial Baptist Church in Lewisburg.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Ervin Zolecki; and a brother, Gene Lewis.
She is survived by her son, Adam Zolecki and wife, Reba, of Caldwell, WV; four brothers, Lowell Lewis and wife, Carrol, of Tulsa, OK, Dave Lewis and wife, Patty, of Wichita, KS, Mike Lewis and wife, Marilyn, of McLeansboro, IL, and Steve Lewis and wife, Mary, of St. Louis, MO; a sister-in-law, Janet Lewis of McCausland, IA; and a close sister-in-law, Janet Smith of Cummings, GA.
As per her wishes, her body has been cremated.
A celebration of her life will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Carnegie Hall, 611 Church Street, Lewisburg, WV 24901, with Dr. Bob Foster officiating.
