Meetings This Week

The following government bodies plan to hold meetings this week. These meetings are open to the public. Interested parties are encouraged to attend.


Renick Town Council will meet on Monday, January 8, at 7 PM, in the Town Hall. On the agenda: committee reports, water rate issues and more.

Ronceverte City Council will meet on Monday, January 8, at 7 PM, in City Hall. On the agenda: wastewater resolutions and related business and more.

White Sulphur Springs Finance Committee will meet on Monday, January 8, 6:00 PM, in City Hall.

White Sulphur Springs City Council will meet on Monday, January 8, 6:30 PM, in City Hall for a public hearing on an application with the West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Management's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program for a water plant backup project between WSS and the City of Lewisburg.

White Sulphur Springs City Council will meet on Monday, January 8, at 7 PM, in the Marie Leist Community Room of City Hall. On the agenda: second readings of ordinances concerning passing vehicles, assault and battery, weapons and explosives, fingerprinting policy, controlled substance definitions and loitering, and the first reading of an amendment to Ordinance 766 related to the municipal service fee, and more.

Lewisburg Public Works Committee will meet Tuesday, January 9, at 5 PM, in the Paul R. Cooley Council Chamber in City Hall. On the agenda: unaccounted for water report, public works projects report and more.

Greenbrier County Commission will meet Tuesday, January 9, at 10 AM, in Room 212. On the agenda: an update of the upcoming Legislative session, outline and update of AEP transmission projects, consideration of the Blue Sulphur Springs Pavilion grant application, consideration of a victim services coordinator, open snow removal estimates/bids and more.
