REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: GVA RESTAURANT OPERATION

Greenbrier County Airport Authority is accepting proposals for operation of the airport restaurant location. A comprehensive expansion and renovation is under way and will include a turn-key kitchen and dining space capable of seating for 50 for inside dining, plus an additional outside veranda for a three season experience. Concessionaire will be required to abide by airport minimum standards of operation to include mandatory drug testing, background check and badging of employees, financial auditing of records, plus inspections/standards required for catering of aircraft. A selected partner would be responsible for minimal outfitting.

This location has a proven revenue stream over several decades. The Authority seeks a partner that embraces the best of West Virginia as we present ourselves with equal enthusiasm to our friends and neighbors while playing host to a world class group of visitors. Proposals must include a comprehensive business plan and menu that ensures we collectively meet high expectations. Machinery for a coffee Barista will be installed. Work will commence within 2 weeks of selection with a 10 week period to complete. Applicant must have extensive experience with commercial construction methods and is responsible for all required insurance, permits and inspections for a turn-key project. This is a comprehensive renovation to include some design/build electrical and plumbing aspects. Bids must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. EST June 12, 2017.
