City Conducting College Survey

The city of Lewisburg is currently in the process of developing a comprehensive plan. The purpose of the comprehensive plan is to identify issues and concerns of residents that are negatively affecting the quality of life for hose who live and work in Lewisburg. A survey has been created to solicit input from local college students.

Prepare for GVT's 'Red' With Artist's Powerful Pastel Prints

Greenbrier Valley Theatre will present an exhibit of selected prints by world-renowned artist Kathleen Holder. Holder's exhibit is free and open to the public. Her extraordinary work will be on display in GVT's Daywood Lobby daily from 10AM-6PM or prior to GVT's performance of "Red."

Battle of Lewisburg Committee Lays Down Arms

The Battle of Lewisburg reenactment will not take place for the second consecutive year. Since the 1980s, the reenactment has been upheld by the Battle of Lewisburg Heritage Committee via partnership with New River Community and Technical College.

Lewisburg Barber Shop Has Been In Business For 50 Years

Tom Lemons began working at Tom's Barbershop on May 5, 1965. Then-owner, Tom Harris, opened Tom's just six short months earlier in November 1964.
