Board of Education Moves Four Meetings Into Greenbrier Schools

At Tuesday's meeting of the Greenbrier County Board of Education, the board announced a change in location for four of their regularly scheduled meetings for the upcoming school year. The change followed a decision made by board members in July to move a number of their regular meetings into Greenbrier County schools.

Battle of Dry Creek Coming To Greenbrier State Forest

The annual Civil War re-enactment of the Battle of Dry Creek will be held at the Greenbrier State Forest on August 15-17. This year's battle will commemorate the Battle of Dry Creek which occurred on August 26-27 in 1863 near the intersection of Route 92 and U.S. Route 60 on the east end of White Sulphur Springs.
