Throttle Throbs Car Club Awards Students With Scholarships

For the past 16 years, the Throttle Throbs Car Club has held car shows to establish scholarships. Due to the hardworking members and sponsors, the club has been very successful in its efforts.

NRCTC Signs Memorandum of Understanding

New River Community and Technical College and the West Virginia Board of Education have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will establish a career pathway for automotive technology students leading to certifications and an Associate of Applied Science degree without duplication of courses.

Rare Shark Fin Spine Fossils Discovered In Organ Cave

Rare fossils discovered nearly a decade ago in Organ Cave have finally been identified as the remains of ancient shark fin spines by the National Park Service (NPS). The find is significant because it represents one of only a handful of shark fossils found in the United States and is believed to belong to a time before the dinosaurs.

Greenbrier Humane Society Contract Renewed
