Charges Dismissed With Prejudice Against Lobban And Crookshanks

Motion hearings were scheduled for Greenbrier County Commissioner Karen Lobban and former Greenbrier County Commissioner Betty Crookshanks on Thursday, September 18, but both cases were dismissed before the hearings occurred, according to an order from the Greenbrier County Circuit Clerk's office.

Two White Sulphur Men Among Those Arrested For Illegal Ginseng Harvesting

Two men from White Sulphur Springs were among 11 arrested in southern West Virginia for the illegal harvesting of ginseng, according to Lt. W.W. Brogan of the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Section District 4.

Felon Arrested For Allegedly Attempting To Purchase A Firearm

Joshua Howard, 29, was arrested Wednesday, September 17, for allegedly attempting to purchase a firearm from a gun store in Rainelle while being a convicted felon.

WV State Police Offering $10,000 Reward For Info Leading To Location Of Dee-Ann Keene

The West Virginia State Police, with the assistance of the Greenbrier County Prosecutor's Office, Greenbrier County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force and the Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department, is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Dee-Ann Keene, according to a press release from the West Virginia State Police.

Over 100 Planes Land At Greenbrier Valley Airport For Citation Jet Pilots Convention

The sixth annual Citation Jet Pilots (CIP) convention is taking place at The Greenbrier. The convention began on September 17 and continues until September 20. Over 100 Cessna Citation aircraft are currently parked at the Greenbrier Valley Airport in Lewisburg, according to Sherman McClung, director of operations and maintenance for the Greenbrier Valley Airport.
