Greenbrier and Lincoln High Schools Deny East Students' Foul Play

Photos of a swampy, trashed visitor locker room that surfaced after the Greenbrier East High School football game against the Lincoln County Panthers in Hamlin on Friday caused a flurry of mudslinging on social media over the weekend.

Discover Rainelle's History In New Book Penned By Local Authors

Telling a story in pictures in Rainelle is the newest addition to Arcadia Publishing's popular Images of America series. The book, by local authors Joan C. Browning, Andrea J. Pendleton and Autumn G. Shelton, is set to release on October 13.

Headless Buck Sparks Landowner Outrage

One landowner is concerned about the disrespect shown to him and others when someone trespassed on his hand to illegally kill a buck for nothing but it's head. This illegal hunting incident took place sometime before 2 PM on October 12 in Asbury.

Kmart Data Breach Found

According to a press release from Kmart, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sears Holding Corporation, the Kmart Information Technology team found a breach in their data systems on Thursday, October 9.
