Dr. Joe O. Othman was arrested at his home in Lewisburg on Saturday, August 30, following a 911 call that reported an intoxicated man was wielding a gun within the residence.

Historic Building Damaged By Tractor Trailer Accident In Lewisburg

A historic building in downtown Lewisburg was damaged Wednesday, September 3, after a tractor trailer driver navigated his turn too sharply at the intersection of Washington Street and Jefferson Street.

Route 219 Resurfacing Project Begins

West Virginia Division of Highways announces a planned resurfacing project on U.S. 219, Jefferson Street, in the city of Lewisburg, will begin Thursday night, September 4, according to Greg Hylton, District Nine construction engineer.
