Raccoon Rabies Vaccination Set For August and September

West Virginia's racoon population is about to receive its annual dose of rabies vaccine. As in previous years, the vaccine will be dropped in a target area that covers a wide corridor through the central part of the state, extending from the northern panhandle to the southern coal fields.

Lewisburg Council Discusses Possible Sister City

Lewisburg could have a sister in the near future. During Tuesday's Lewisburg City Council meeting, council members voted unanimously to submit an application and $150 application fee to Sisters Cities International to become a sister city with Dingle, Ireland, that is already a sister city with Santa Barbara, CA.
