Memorial Golf Tournament To Benefit Holliday Family

For the second year, The Aaron S. Cox Memorial Golf Tournament was a huge success. On May 10 at the Lewisburg Elks Country Club, 86 golfers teed off to benefit James. R. Holliday, a young boy with Rett syndrome.

Tomblin Names New Circuit Judge

Gov. Early Ray Tomblin announced Tuesday, May 20, the appointment of Robert E. Richardson as Circuit Judge for the 11th Judicial Court and Miki Thompson as Circuit Judge for the 30th Judicial Circuit.

Former Mail Carrier Admits To Dealing Drugs At Work

United States Attorney Booth Goodwin announced that Jack Edwin McCoy, 30, of White Sulphur Springs, entered a guilty plea in federal court in Charleston to a drug offense. McCoy pleaded guilty to using a communication facility to facilitate a felony drug offense.
