Washington Elected To National Board

Dr. L. Marshall Washington, president of New River Community and Technical College, has been elected to the board of directors of the American Association of Community Colleges, an advocacy group for nearly 1,200 two-year associate degree granting institutions and more than 13 million students.

Gateway Industries To Celebrate 20th Anniversary Of Derby Day Fundraiser

Grab your most flamboyant hat and go. The Derby Day 20th annual fundraiser for Gateway Industries Inc. is this Saturday, May 3, beginning at 3:30 PM. This year the celebration will be held in the Underwood Youth Center at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds.
