First Ever Block Party And Open Mic Held In Ronceverte

It took six months to get there, but on September 26 J.R.S. Audi and Visual Remastering and Production of Ronceverte hosted the first of many open mic block parties. According to Jeff Russel, owner of J.R.S., the block parties will be held in or outside of his store every Friday.

Greenbrier Humane Society Seeing Trend Of Abandoned Animals

Greenbrier County animal shelter is seeing a trend of violent animal abandonment. Two animals were brought in this month after witnesses saw them thrown from moving vehicles.

Rainelle Magic Mart Closes Its Doors

Residents of Rainelle are still reeling after one of the town's largest retail stores closed its doors on Monday, September 22. Given no prior notice, Magic Mart customers who attempted to visit the store this week found the doors locked and the employees busy inside packing away inventory.

Two Local Athletes To Bike 197 Miles To Benefit Coach Jerry Bradley

Muscles for Miracles (M4M): 24 Hour Challenge for Hope athletes, Travis McClintic of Lewisburg and Drew Cochran of Quinwood will bike 197 miles for coach Jerry Bradley from September 27-28.
