Local Greenbrier County teachers gathered on Tuesday, February 19, during the strike, calling on the legislature to stop Senate Bill 451 in its tracks. Despite a wide variety of politic opinions, many united behind the unions' call to strike.
"You got to act," said Greenbrier East High School (GEHS) teacher Barry Rich. "We have people down here that represent different political philosophies, but because of their job choice, they're united."
