An appointment to the Airport Authority, an upcoming meeting between the CVB and Airport Authority, a new 911 Center Director, an announcement concerning flood insurance premium rates, and a reminder that the voter registration deadline is October 16 were considered and voted on during the Tuesday, September 9, meeting of the Greenbrier County Commission.
A twice delayed vote confirmed Greg Furlong as an appointee to the Greenbrier Valley Airport Authority board. The commission previously delayed the vote several times while waiting to hear back from an ethics review board, which was looking into potential conflicts of interest Furlong could have as an employee of The Greenbrier.
