A road block has emerged in Greenbrier County's path to its first WV Renaissance Festival.
The Greenbrier County Board of Zoning Appeals heard Taso Stavrakis and Dawn Kieninger's appeal to allow the festival to be held on their over 300 acre farm near Alta. The land is divided into zoned and nonzoned areas, with some zoned as an Open Space Conservation District.
