Huntington Documentary, Heroin(e), Earns Nomination For An Oscar In Short Subject

Heroin(e), a Netflix documentary that follows the lives of three women from Huntington as they fight the drug crisis in their community, has been nominated for an Oscasr in the Documentary (short subject) category. 

Heroin(e) outlines the struggles and milestones of fire chief, Jan Rader: Drug court judge, Patricia Keller: the head of an outreach ministry, Necia Freeman as they try to break the vicious cycle of drug overdoses in Huntington.
