Penny Pitch Meets 50-Year Milestone In Serving Greenbrier Valley Families

Penny Pitch is celebrating 50 years this holiday season. The benevolent program was started in 1967 by four Greenbrier Jaycees: Teddy Morgan, Flem Browning, Wayne Rogers, and Dennis Sanger. Sanger, at the time, was the editor of The West Virginia Daily News.

The Jaycees Club is a service organization that strives to make a difference in communities across the country through grants awarded to chapter and state organizations.
