AARP Bites Latest Republican Health Care Bill In New Paper

The most recent attempt by Senate Republicans to repeal the Affordable Care Act, known as Graham-Cassidy, could cost many West Virginians as much as $18,462 in out-of-pocket expenses, according to a paper released by the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).

Graham-Cassidy, name for South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham and Louisiana Senator William Cassidy, is the latest of the many attempts by congressional Republicans to repeal the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. The bill, though not yet introduced to the Senate floor, is being pushed through by Republicans due to congressional rules required budget based bills be passed before September 30.
