EITC Could Ease Greenbrier County Poverty

"We all do better when we all do better," said Seth DiStefano, policy outreach director at the West Virginia Center on Budget and Policy at a presentation Monday night on poverty in Greenbrier County.

DiStefano came to Lewisburg United Methodist Church on May 13 to give a presentation on Earned Income Tax Credit, or EITC, in conjunction with the West Virginia Poor People's Campaign (WVPPC), which seeks to alleviate poverty in the state by bolstering the voices of those most affected and connecting people to resources that can help make change.
