Pipeline Protester Makes Bail, Still Faces Charges

Pipeline protester Dometrius Holden was released from Southern Regional Jail Wednesday, May 1.

Similar to several protests against Mountain Valley Pipeline in Monroe County over the past few years, Dometrius locked himself to pieces of welding equipment on the construction site near Lindside on April 25. He was removed and charged by police the same day.
