Virgil Held in Lewisburg For NZL Victims

On Friday evening, March 30, area residents gathered at a candlelight virgil in the Lewisburg Green Space in honor of the victims of the March 15 shootings at the Al Noor Mosque and Linwood Islamic Centre in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The vigil was organized by faculty from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine's Medical Muslim Student Association (MMSA), who acted in support of their students, whose global community has been deeply shaken by the tragedy and violence in New Zealand.
