Weekend Weather Could Cause Flooding, Slides, Blocked Roads

With flood watches in effect over much of the area until Saturday night, Greenbrier Valley residents are cautioned about rising waterways and immersed roadways, but the amount of moisture currently in the soil also has the potential to bring mudslides, uprooted trees, and falling rocks.

The West Virginia Divsion of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (WVDHSEM), the West Virginia National Guard (WVNG), and other West Virginia State Agencies continue to monitor the remaining effects of winter weather and flooding issues across the Mountain State.
