Lewisburg Swears In New Chief Of Police

Lewisburg Chief of Police Chris Teubert was formally recommended and appointed to the position by Lewisburg Mayor John Manchester during the Tuesday, February 21, City Council meeting. After the retirement of Tim Stover, Lewisburg's former police chief, Teubert has worked as the acting chief of police.

"Thank you very much," said Teubert. "I do not take the responsibility that you've given me, and the faith you've shown in me, lightly. I would like to assure you that I will do my best to serve you, the citizens of Lewisburg. I'd like to thank Chief [Tim] Stover for the foundation and my family for putting up with me all these years."
