FEMA Funds And Projects, Officer Promotion Discussed By Alderson City Council

An over $1.2 million discrepancy in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funds was one of many topics during the Thursday, February 14, Alderson City Council meeting.

The meeting began with the annual reports from Police Chief Jeremy Bennett, Fire and EMS Chief Frankie Jones, Wastewater Treatment Chief Operator Bob Rhodes, and Water Treatment Chief Operator Donnie Steep, each receiving praise for their efforts and infrastructure from Alderson Mayor Travis Copenhaver.
