Lewisburg To Vote On Levy Renewal

The citizens of Lewisburg will go the polls to decided to renew or deny the city's excess levy for another five-year- term in February.

"This has been in place for decades and it represents no increase in what people are paying for in taxes right now on the fees," said Lewisburg Mayor John Manchester during the January 15 City Council meeting. "It just re-ups them for a further five-year period. ... It's critical for the budgeting process and for us to be able to provide the services that the citizens wish for."
