Utility And TV Scam May Affect Area Residents

Area residents should be aware of a potential utilities scam in the area. Be aware of calls form a representative claiming to be from a familiar TV provider, who may offer equipment or service upgrades and attempt to charge a fee not charged by the real provider.

The scammers may have information such as the name of your regular utility or TV provider, as well as the address where the service is located.
