Greenbrier County Humane Society 'Kram The Kennel' Events Provides For Soon-To-Be Pets

By Bobby Bordelon

A holiday drive aiming to take care of four-legged friends without homes in Greenbrier County kicked off in December; the Greenbrier County Humane Society's "Kram the Kennel" is an annual drive, accepting item donations and placing them inside a kennel. One at a time, the donated products fill the kennel, providing the Humane Society with many of the essentials they cannot go without.

This year, the drive is looking to fill the kennel with canned kitten food, canned dog food, non-clumping litter, dog and cat treats, dog and cat toys, trash bags, laundry detergent, paper towels, beds, towels, and blankets.

For those interested, the shelter has a wish list on Amazon at The list contains specific items the Humane Society is looking for, with quick links to purchase and have Amazon ship directly to the facility.
