White Sulphur Springs City Council Passes Chicken Ordinance

A passed ordinance concerning chickens within White Sulphur Springs was the primary focus of attention during City Council's regular meeting on Tuesday, September 9.

The ordinance went into second reading and was passed by City Council during the meeting, to the objection of two residents of the city who spoke during the citizen's comments section of the meeting before the council took a vote. In addition, another resident of the city raised questions about the ordinance's effect on his business.
