Ordinance Enacting Lewisburg Charter Amendments Approved By City Council

An ordinance formally approving potential revisions to the Lewisburg City Charter and a cost of living raise for city employees were passed, bids for the Civil War Trail and new rifles for the Lewisburg Police Department were approved, and an announcement about the Greenspace passed through Lewisburg City Council during its Tuesday, September 18, meeting.

The approved charter revisions take the founding document of the city and spell out not only the positions that make up the government but the balance of powers and responsibilities between each role.
