Greenbrier Valley Airport Authority Meets To Discuss New Business, Capital Improvements

The Greenbrier Valley Airport Authority held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 21, at 3 p.m. On the agenda were action items including the election of new officers, an open board position, review of employee manual and GVAA bylaws, information on new business proposed for the airport, and capital improvements to be made for the benefit of the airport as it moves foward.

Board officers for the current year were elected, with Lowell Johnson, Mike McClung, and Deborah Phillips voted to the positions of president, vice president, and secretary, respectively. In regard to the open board positions, a  list of recommendations by the board were passed to the GVAA; a motion was made and seconded to accept the names on the list for consideration.
